Description

                                         The motive is to design a wired/wireless robot being autonomous or manually controlled machine that is capable of completing the ALL TERRAIN Arena successfully

 

Dimensions and Fabrication

1) The machine should fit in a box of dimensions 30x30x30 (Cm) at every given point of the race. The external device used     to control the machine is not included in the size constraint.

2) The machine should not exceed 4 kgs of weight including the weight of power source. If the power source is external,its     weight would be considered 1.5 times its actual weight. Weight of wireless robots will be counted 0.75 times,its actual         weight.

3) The machine can be controlled with wires or wirelessly.

4) If the machine is wired than the wire should remain slack under all circumstances during competition. All Wires coming     out of machine should be stacked as a single unit.

5) Remote control system from toys might be used. Remote control Systems available in market can also be used

 

 Rules

1) A  team may consist of a maximum of 4 members.( members can be from different institutes) 

2) Competition will be played on knock-out basis.

3) Teams should submit their remote before the event starts.

4) Teams not following dimensional criteria shall be disqualified.

5) Design and dimension of the robot should not be changed during the competition.

6) Only one person will be allowed to control the robot around the arena.

7) Any ready-made assembly except remote control system is prohibited in the machine.

8) The machine must use only electrical power as source of energy. Use of Compressed gass, fuels, chemicals etc. is prohibited.

9) The electric voltage between two points anywhere should not exceed 12 V at any point of time.

10)The decision of Judges and Co-ordinators shall be treated as final and binding on all.

11) Registration fee for Robo-Race is Rs. 100/- per member.
