Description

                            Set your rudders, gun your propellers and cut through choppy waves in this one of a kind Radio/Manual controlled boat race event. Make a simple RC/Manual sail boat and run it in a competition to outpace your competitor.

Design and construct a remote controlled robot capable of running on water surface.

 

Dimensions and Fabrications

1)The machine should fit in a box of dimension 30 cm x 30 cm x 35 cm (l*b*h) at every given point of the race.

2) The external device used to control the machine such as remote control box or DC converter is not included in the size constraint.

3) The boat has to be controlled by a wireless/wired remote control mechanism throughout the competition.

4) The boat must not be made from any readymade assembly kits.

5) Remote control systems available in the market may also be used.

6) Light in weight but strong material can be used for the construction.

Rules

 

1)  No. of participates per group: - Maximum 2 members

2)  Any team that is not ready at the event specified time will be disqualified.
3) The robot will be checked as per the specification by jury member appointed by the college before enters in to the tournament and if any failure may lead to disqualify.
4) Participants should not step inside within the specified boundary limit.
5) No oblige on the any decision will be given by jury member.
6) The final decision of judges is binding to all participants.

7) The robot can be wired or wireless. Wireless bots must have at least two modes of frequency to avoid frequency interference.
8) The organizers reserve all rights to vary any of the above rules. The participants must regularly keep checking the website for further updates.
9) Participants who bring their own robot they will get time benefit in first round.

10) Maximum D.C power permitted is 12 Volts.

11) A team may consist of a maximum of 2 participants.

12) EVENT FEES is  Rs. 80/- member.
